Alte Bekannte mit einem Plan: THE MAD NOTHINGS platzieren sich in der Mitte zwischen starken Melodien und einer herzlichen Raubeinigkeit, geben sich souverän smart und hart. UK'81 Streetpunk, versetzt mit etwas Guitar Punk der Bauweise LEATHERFACE meets NEWTOWN NEUROTICS und SLF. Schroffe Riffs, treibender Beat, mitreissende Gesänge; grobkörnig in der Zusammensetzung und verdammt eingängig in der Wirkung, rezeptpflichtige Singalongs inklusive: "Yesterdays Hero" frisst sich gnadenlos in Deinen Gehörgang, setzt sich dort fest und spukt mit Langzeitwirkung durch den Kopf. Auch optisch eine smarte Delikatesse: Das Cover-Artwork im Bootboy-Style stammt erneut von Carlos Miquin aus Brasilien (veredelte u.a. bereits die "Skinhead Clockwork" Compilation).

Old acquaintances with a plan: THE MAD NOTHINGS place themselves in the middle between strong melodies and a hearty rowdiness, give themselves sovereignly smart and hard. UK'81 Streetpunk, mixed with some Guitar Punk of the LEATHERFACE meets NEWTOWN NEUROTICS and SLF type. Rough riffs, driving beat, rousing vocals; coarse-grained in composition and damn catchy in effect, prescription singalongs included: "Yesterdays Hero" mercilessly eats into your auditory canal, settles there and haunts your head with long-term effect. Also visually a smart delicacy: The cover artwork in bootboy style was once again created by Carlos Miquin from Brazil (who already refined the "Skinhead Clockwork" compilation).
