On the A-side, PARIS VIOLENCE celebrate their gruff CHAOS EN FRANCE Oi! in the national language with a melancholic dark wave note. This time the latter is in low gear: The classic Oi! dominates, Flav sounds very angry, the instrumental circle is not overused. Dark, evil, interesting. Absinthe Oi! for the dark moments in life.
On the flipside, new material from Norwich finest BRAINDANCE around the indestructible Sloss. Both songs could have been taken directly from the 1993 debut "The Blind lead the blind": UK'81 bootboy sound with NO FUTURE seal of approval, rough shell meets melodic core. Everything as usual: catchy singalongs with bitingly husky vocals. It starts with "My liberty", followed by a crisp update of the 4 SKINS blockbuster "Chaos", now updated as "Chaos Girls". Including the original "Chaos!" choruses. Old, new, borrowed and blue.
